The dinosaurs
Do you believe that the dinosaurs were also very small animals?
Well, some time ago, small dinosaur bones were found in a mountain in
Germany, and people thought they were from baby dinosaurs. But they
were wrong! A paleontologist said that they probably were the smallest
giant dinosaur species ever found.
That’s probably because 150 million years ago most of Germany was
underwater. Scientists think that as water levels rose, finding food and a
place to stay became more and difficult. So, the dinosaurs were forced to
adapt to its diminutive habitat, and as a consequence it became a smaller
animal needing less space and food.
