Essa semana vamos fazer exercícios com There was / There were, usando também a forma negativa.

Veja o exemplo:

There was – There was not

There were – There were not

There was not significa: Não havia ou não existia.

There were not significa: Não havia ou não existiam

1) Escreva as frases na forma negativa:

Exemplo:

There was a car here.

There was not a car here

There were many people in the classroom.

There were not many people in the classroom.

Então para escrever a frase na forma negativa é só colocar o not depois do was ou were.

a) There were many trees.
