Sweet sixteen!

A sweet sixteen is a celebration in honor of a girl’s 16th birthday, primarily in the United States and in Canada, both of them in North America. The party can be formal or casual, like a wedding.

Sweet sixteens can range from modest parties at home with close family to big celebrations in hotel ballrooms with a Dj, makeup, hair styling and expensive dresses. It doesn’t matter if the party is big or small, its main purpose is to celerate the person becoming “older” and entering a different stage of their life. Typically, this is the last big birthday party for a teenager.
